Our library offers a wide range of e-resources, including periodical, e-book and research databases, accessed by any member via our web site or while working at the library. We are always looking for the latest in e-content and will continue to modernize our partnerships as new platforms become available. Below is a list of the e-resources currently available at the library:

If you wish to locate a book that is not in our collection you may apply to get it through our Interlibrary Loan Services. To do this, you may call, e-mail or fill out a form at the Madawaska Valley Public Library, giving your name, telephone number and library card number and all the pertinent book information (author, title, publisher and year of publication, if known).
To search the Ontario Public Libraries Card Catalogue to see if the item you desire is available at a public library in Ontario and to copy the relevant information on the book, go to http://info.vdxhost.com/en/zportal/zengine?VDXaction=Navigation.
Note:
The catalogue can be searched by author, title, keyword or subject. Use the dropdown menu in the search bar. When you have selected an item click on the “reserve” tab and it will be reserved for you.
Staff will contact you to let you know when your order is ready for pickup.
The Library offers patrons full use of our computers. Patrons can schedule a time to book the computer or request a computer station by calling 613-756-2000 or by email at mvpl.programs@gmail.com
Computers can be booked for 30 minute sessions. If you are doing research, filling out an application or writing an online exam that may take more than 30 please advise staff when booking.
